Meet Your Instructor, Dr. Lauren Kight, DMD
Dr. Lauren Kight is a dentist and myofunctional therapist with a focus on holistic orofacial development and airway health. Her own struggles with TMJ pain, neck and shoulder tension, and her children’s sleep-breathing issues led her to uncover undiagnosed tongue ties and orofacial dysfunction—transforming both her personal and professional path. After years in general dentistry, Dr. Lauren shifted her focus to root-cause care, stepping into myofunctional therapy to help patients facing similar challenges. She has trained with leading programs such as Myomentor, the Breathe Institute, Buteyko Clinic, ALF InterFACE Academy, and more. With prior experience in an airway-centered dental practice, she brings a comprehensive, integrative approach to patient care—bridging the gap between dentistry and therapy to support lifelong wellness.
