About the Course
This in-person course explores the clinical advantages of laser technology for both practitioners and patients, with a focus on predictable, minimally invasive surgical outcomes. Attendees will review real-world clinical cases covering periodontal therapy, soft tissue enhancements, and cosmetic and restorative osseous crown lengthening. Emphasis is placed on practical decision-making, efficiency, and improved healing through modern laser applications.
Meet Your Instructor, Dr. Jay Ohmes, DDS, FAGD, LVIF, DASBA
Dr. Jay Ohmes earned his DDS from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry and has maintained a long-standing general dentistry practice in Saint Charles/O’Fallon, Missouri. His clinical focus emphasizes dental facial bio-esthetics, restorative dentistry, and advanced laser applications. He is an internationally recognized lecturer and clinical trainer in high-tech dental equipment and laser dentistry. He has served as an advanced laser surgery instructor and clinical trainer for Fotona and previously taught at the Las Vegas Institute and Tech4Med. His work has been featured in multiple publications highlighting innovative laser techniques and modern restorative procedures.
